From your hotel or riad in Marrakech to the direction of Ouzoud.
Getting there takes about 2 hours and 55 minutes
Ouzoud Waterfalls are 110 meters high, the highest in North Africa. They are located about 150 km northeast of Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains. They constitute one of the most spectacular natural spots in this region.
The surrounding countryside offers red cliffs, olive groves, tamarisk trees, oleander, apes, and doves. Visitors can experience rural life.
Along the road to this attraction, you can treat your eyes by enjoying the beautiful views of the Kasbahs and olive trees. Hiking here is refreshing.
The area can be enjoyed any time of year, with the hottest seasons being July and August. The frostiness of the waterfalls refreshes the air around.
There are a few restaurants where you can enjoy your lunch (at your own expense) with a view of the waterfalls from their terraces.
A short walk around the valley will bring you to the top of the falls, where you can have the best view of the falls to the bottom (with the tour guide).
During your trip to Ouzoud, you will have the opportunity to be part of this rich nature in Morocco.
